'3 Pumpkins' Art on Canvas

Hello! As you may have noticed, pumpkins have been a popular item to paint with several of my painters. The lady and guy below are relatives celebrating the lady's birthday with a painting class, among other celebrations they enjoyed earlier this day. The brother participated in this art class with his sister as part of his birthday gifts to her. They were great students, painting along as they enjoyed their dessert and beverage. I love the details they added to their pumpkins; I think they created beautiful pumpkin paintings! Don't you?

Kid-Freestyled Family Portrait Painting

Posted by Chae Designs - Michelle 'Chaella' Boddie | Posted in , , , , , | Posted on 4:10 PM

Good Day, Everyone! This young student came to paint thanks to an adult cousin taking her on a weekend visit of lady-entrepreneurs' businesses. As a walk-in student, she painted her own ideas on canvas. She had a great idea to paint family images on her canvas.

This young artist's creativity is delightful and the painting she created is beautifully done!  One of her models was in the studio classroom with us, posing for the portrait with this young artist.  Her cousin had her wear gloves so that she wouldn't get acrylic paint on her hands.

As you can see, sometimes I've worked with one family at a time and the classes are still a lot of fun to do!  I've been blessed to work with a lot of great families, including this delightful family!  Small painting classes are equally fun as larger classes.

Babies Like to Paint & Moms, Too!

Posted by Chae Designs - Michelle 'Chaella' Boddie | Posted in , , , , , , , , | Posted on 7:11 PM

Hello, Everyone! Today's art class images feature three family members: a mom, and her daughters. Mom brought her daughters out for a painting-on-canvas (& each other) experience to celebrate her baby's 1st birthday. Together, the three of them created two beautiful abstract paintings using acrylic paint. Initially, the oldest daughter painted on canvas only. However, at some point on her own, she decided it would be fun for her to paint her baby (literally) sister's face with acrylic paint. I, gently, reminded them that it would be far better to use this paint on the canvases.

Mom thoroughly enjoyed this experience painting with her daughters, and the baby enjoyed playing in the paint. Since they were 'walk-ins' they painted 'free-style' and created their own abstract masterpieces, together. Now, they have a wonderful memory of painting together, captured in photographs.

3 They should have known that all these things ~ which they took to be gods and delighted in ~
were much less beautiful than the ONE who rules them all. The Creator of beauty itself created them.
